With Halloween in a few days, please be sure to have an enjoyable trick-or-treating experience. Here are some tips to keep your experience safe:

  • Use reflective tape or stickers on costumes and treat bags to enhance visibility in the dark.

Route Planning:

  • Stick to well-lit, familiar neighborhoods.

  • Plan your route in advance, and inform someone about your intended path and return time.

  • Trick-or-treat in a group with family or friends.

Street Safety:

  • Use crosswalks and follow traffic rules.

  • Keep an eye out for cars and avoid distracted walking.

  • Make sure masks or makeup don’t obstruct your vision.
