With the winter weather fast approaching, mPark Homes is taking proactive steps to winterize park owned homes. We will be inspecting the underside of park owned mobile homes to be sure heat tape and insulation are properly installed and functioning and will be making repairs as needed.
For tenants who own their own manufactured home, we recommend a similar inspection. Keeping heat tape in and insulation in proper functioning order can prevent disaster when the temperatures drop substantially below the freezing level.
Without proper functioning heat tape and insulation, you may experience a freeze up on the coldest nights of the year, and unfortunately, many plumbing services will be fully booked and cannot thaw your home for several days. Even worse is that broken pipes can cause substantial home damage and costly sewer and water bills.
